VALKEAPORO is a cozy and tidy enterprise offering accommodation and program services. Valkeaporo is located in Lapland on the shore of a beautiful and remote Menesjärvi-lake, 35 kms from the village of Inari towards Kittilä and just one kilometer from the border of Lemmenjoki National Park. We have 9 log cabins for all year round use, in three of them there is a sauna. We have 42 beds all together in Valkeaporo. Toilets, showers and sauna are located in the service building. For groups we have a kitchen and dining room.
We are specialized in wilderness trips and program services. Already during 20 years we have washed gold and transported customers by boat on river Lemmenjoki. Valkeaporo helps you to find the fabulous nature and untouched wilderness areas as well as makes reindeer herding, gold panning and sami culture familiar to you. We can offer you accommodation services, boat trips, gold panning, snowmobile safaris to the Arctic Ocean, skiing trips and willow grouse hunting to the wild lands of Inari.
Valkeaporo has own gold claim on river Morgamoja in Lemmenjoki National Park. We make gold panning trips to our gold claim and every time someone is lucky enough to find some gold.
